If I'm not indoors editing my latest film or photos, I'm probably out body surfing at Stone Steps, hiking around Torrey Pines, dirt biking in Pine Valley, or skiing down Dave's Run in Mammoth.
Inspiration
The great outdoors is a playground as well as an artistic muse for me.
Whether it's front and center in a landscape or the backdrop of a lifestyle portrait, nature is my studio of choice.
Film
I choose to be a photographer and a filmmaker because the challenge of developing both skill sets forces me to experiment, fail, learn, and ultimately grow as an artist.
Philosophy
With a mass of images bombarding us every day, numbing our sense of beauty, I believe simplicity, elegance, and mood are key to making art that feels alive -- and makes the viewer feel alive too.
